Woo hoo, finally I get to blog as well! Very exciting as I’ve always got so much talk about =p Anyway, my first entry will be about the adventure Hafiz, Shel and I embarked on to send a listener a cat.
You might or might not remember this, we did a Fix It awhile ago surrounding a girl who lost her cat, Chabu. So the girl, Amy, was crying over then phone when we told her we couldn’t find the cat. Poor girl!
Fabes and Ben felt so bad about it, so we decided to replace her kitty. At first, I promised Amy a super cute white Persian which goes by the name of Comel (belongs to my in-laws to be) but then something happened to that cutie pie (which is too traumatic for me to talk about) so I went on another search for an available cat.
And then one fine day, Hafiz called me up saying that his friend has a couple of cats to giveaway. So I was like “Hmmm cute or notttt? If cute, takkan lah your friend wants to giveaway.”
Hafiz : “Let’s just put it this way, if the cat were human, I’d marry it!”
Me : “Has anybody told you how strange you are?”
I later found out that Hafiz’s friend was giving the kittens away because she’s already got too many. So I called Amy up with the good news and set up a date to meet up.
Last Monday (September 10th 2007), Hafiz, Shel and I drove to Ampang, we were supposed to meet Amy at Ampang Point but I confidently drove to Ampang Park instead hehehe. So instead of a proper parking spot as a meet up point, we had to wait for Amy by the roadside, right smack in the middle of the City Center, with a cat in the car, may I add!
Amy finally arrived and the moment she saw the cat, (whom Hafiz has named Bantal by the way) she screamed and the girl can scream I tell you =p So we took photos and had to rush off because Shel and Hafiz had to get back for their show. It was sad having to part with Bantal, and I was told by Shel that Hafiz hasn’t had enough sleep ever since but I’m sure Bantal’s got a great home now. Hope you’re feeding her well, Amy!
