After Floor Fever's rendition of Faizal Tahir's Bencinta in this week's episode, it struck me that we are near the end. When it first kicked off in January, I didnt realize how fast time zooms by. From hundreds of potentials to 12 talented now down to 3 hopeful crews fighting for RM50k and the most acknowledged title: Champions of Showdown 2010.
In Malaysia, there's never been a contest so gruelling which rewards the victors that much amount of money. Week by week, I witness first hand the emotions that flood those who left us. It hit us hard especially the judges when they had to eliminate a young aspiring crew like HMC Phlow.
Now: Giller Battle Crew, Floor Fever and Wakaka are in for the Final Battle.

For you who watched Toy Story 3, did you experience the sweet farewell that felt like you had paprika on the the corners of your eyelids from the dumpsite scene till the end?
Well good news for the not-so-evil Lotso after all. I paid a visit to the 8TV office on Monday.
To my surprise; Lotso has scored a job as Network Administrator.
He's trying to forget the past. He regrets what he did to the Toy Story Gang. But he is moving on..
Weekly visits to the 8tv's resident therapist, Dzul help him recover from past traumas. I must say his emotional scars are healing well.
He's juggling two girlfriends now. Julie and Vanessa. Lucky dude.
Lotso says that this is his brother from another momma; Jason.
Despite his amazing recovery, Lotso has picked up a habit no toys should:
When asked of his bad habit, Lotso say: 'I miss my true friends, I hate working with the humans. My only escape is nicotine which kills me faster. Adulthood is cancerous.'
Next week, i'll be on leave. 7 days should be used to relax and me time should be the priority. A few spots were in consideration to spend my me time efficiently.
Baia Taormina looks like a good place to enjoy the Italian sun and absorb the culture.
The Pyramids of Giza would be a good destination to ponder upon ancient human's brilliance.
Or maybe enjoy how Father Time and Mother Nature crafted this spectacular sight at Luray Caverns, USA.
BUT UNFORTUNATELY
I have to be the good brother to run errands and prepare for Hani's Wedding. Sigh
A good brother is an annoying brother and that doesn't mean I can't crack a lame joke with the picture above. He He He. I'm sure she'll look livelier and happier than the corpse bride. With Hani's wedding coming and first episode of Showdown 2010 premiering on 8TV this coming Wednesday, it'll be a hectic week. May your week be beautiful.
