We, at the Pagi Show are gearing up BIG TIME for this upcoming Lion Dance challenge. (In truth, we've only gone for one practice session and the rest of the time, we've just spent talking about it hehehehe)
But seriously though, we have planned a whole week of massive training with the Lion Dance Master next week. So please, wish us luck. And in the meantime, please also vote for which one of us you want to become the Lion Head, Lion BUM and Tai Tao Fatt (the bald guy who leads the Lion) : http://www.flyfm.com.my/ads/liondance/
Thank you for the votes! Now, here's a little treat ESPECIALLY for you, part 2 of our Lion Dance practice that took place yesterday...
In other development, here are things I've been up to... Check out what my friendly neighbourhood Mamak serves, Mozzarella Cheese Sticks yoooooooo! Hehehehe. You might have read about this on Twitter last night, I went for dinner with Aaron, his cousin Eric and my cousins Sara and Adam at Asia Cafe, Subang. While the boys acted all cool, munching on slices of pizza, Sara and I gobbled down a big plate of Cheese Crab. It was EXCELLENTEEEE This morning as I walked towards the Fly fm Studio at 5.10am, I saw a rather interesting sight... I went closer to get a better shot. Hehehehehe. It was Ben, stealing a nap early in the morning with his mouth wide open. Funny how his duck style hair stayed intact though hahahaha. Then at lunch, I managed to manipulate Ben (yes, he was much more awake then) into doing something HUGE. At first, he called me and asked where I was. So I told him that I was having rice with a bunch of our colleagues. At first, Ben did not want to come because he wanted to jaga diet. But surprise surprise, he appeared minutes later, took one look at my Nasi Kerabu and started thinking of having the same thing. Guess what? Seconds later, a big plate of Nasi Kerabu was in front of him. And the funny thing about this whole scenario is that, Ben has not had rice for the past three months!! I am so proud to say that after 3 months of strict dieting and healthy eating, I managed to convince him hehehe. It's okay, Ben, you needed that plate of Nasi Kerabu, you've lost way too much weight =)
Yes, it IS true, I've challenged Fabes and Ben to do the Lion Dance for this upcoming Chinese New Year. Honestly, don't you agree with me that if a person loses weight from dieting, they are not necessarily fit.
That's exactly how those two cows lost up to 16 kgs within two months. They never a single form of workout. Not even "jogging setempat" hahaha. So they have agreed to take up the challenge if I join in.
So yesterday, all three of us attended our first ever Lion Dance practice session with a professional Lion Dancer. The result, was this...
What do you think? Can we pull it off? hehehe. Wish us good luck and don't forget to follow me on Twitter! Twitter.com/NadiaFly
