Workshop till you drop!
School Holiday Workshop @ The Annexe Central Market
Creative Drama for children (10 – 15 years old)
This is an integrated creative arts workshop which harmoniously blends the artistic areas of drama, visual arts, body movement and creative sound. Children will be guided to explore the rich culture and history of Central Market through improvisation, games and exercises.
This workshop will open, enhance and heighten children’s creative minds as the facilitators lead them through the observation of various landscapes. At the end of the workshop, there will be a showcase of the children’s work.
Date: 6 – 10 June 2007 (Wednesday to Sunday)
Time: 10.00am to 1.00pm
Venue: The Studio, Annexe Central Market
Fee: RM200

Workshop will be conducted in English and Bahasa Malaysia. No prior art and drama knowledge required. All workshop materials will be provided. Details of programmes are subject to change; participants will be informed accordingly.
Maximum 15 participants only, registration is on first-come first served basis. Registration Form is attached with this email. Participant fee is to be paid in full by cash UPON REGISTRATION at the Information Counter of Central Market. Fees paid are not refundable. Victoria Institution Carnival 2007
~Where Everything Awaits You~
The Board Of Chairman (B.O.C) will be organizing a carnival as this year's
annual event with help from both the school and the VIOBA.
The details of the carnival are as follows:

Time : 1000 hours till 1700 hours
Venue : Victoria Institution
This event is organized solely by our students with an aim to allow the community to take time out from their hectic lifestyles and be entertained for that one day while generating revenue for our co-curricular fund. It also acts as an appraisal to our capabilities and what we can achieve when we work together.

The Legend...12 years running
The idea of organizing a camping activity for the youths was mooted in 1995, when the Youth Exco Council at that time wanted to change the name of their Youth Camp! The original Tutti just had 70 participants and was organized in SMK Vokasional Shah Alam!!! There were only about 7 organizers!!! 12 years down the line, now, Kem Tutti Fratelli is about to celebrate its 12th anniversary on a grand scale! Today, we stand proud with a minimum participation of 300 MRCS members yearly and a strong organizing committee of over 50 people. The rest, they say its history.
We are the TUTTI FAMILY! And we are about to continue making history...With this year's theme being TUTTI FRATELLI: ONE MISSION, ONE REVOLUTION, ONE DESTINATION, Are you about to be part of TUTTI FRATELLI NATIONAL 12TH EDITION 2007? Life expentancy for women has increased. In Malaysia it is reaching 80 years. The age of menopause world-wide is consistenly around 49 to 50 years of age. This means a women can expect to live another 30 years beyond her menopause.She can then be subjected to the problems of menopause.

A Film Retrospective
Your bed is ready, Mr Tsai!
Malaysia-born Taiwanese director Tsai Ming-Liang's movies have been celebrated around the world – from Cannes to Chicago to Istanbul – but not Malaysia. On May 17, however, his latest film "I Don't Want to Sleep Alone", which was shot in Kuala Lumpur last year, will open at The Picture House, Cathay Cineleisure, Damansara. Yes, finally!
To celebrate this homecoming, The Annexe, Central Market will showcase a retrospective of his previous films, plus a few shorts, from Thu May 10 – Sun 13 (8pm every night). Tsai Ming-Liang himself will drop by on Fri May 11 to chat with audiences. Please note: we are not screening "I Don't Want to Sleep Alone" -- you have to go to The Picture House for that. But for all his previous films, come here!
