Good afning macha. I had a mini panic attack this morning when I was doing an event ‘cause I couldn't find my handphone. Yes dude, I got to admit. I can't live without my handphone. I mean, bro, my phone contains everything; my contacts, my emails, schedule, pictures, and the list goes on and on. That is why I decided that today's post will be all about handphones. From cute looking ones to how it can distract you!

So, it seems like everyone owns at least one handphone these days. I've seen people who walk around with 3-4 handphones. Macha, I don't understand why a person needs so many phones. Anyway, I've been wanting to get a new phone for my niece and I don't which 'cause she told me that she wants something cute and girly. So I decided to google it, and dude, I did find a couple of cute ones but I'm not too sure if they're toys or real phones.

Yup, they are handphones.

I stumbled upon an article a couple of days ago and macha, it said that "cell phone users were less likely to notice an unusual activity along their walking route (a unicycling clown). Handphone usage may cause inattentional blindness even during a simple activity that should require few cognitive resources."

So, here's what I think. Handphones are definitely a distraction cause... Ok fine. I have to own up now. There was once when I was so focused on my handphone, playing Angry Birds, replying comments and texting during a meeting that I had no idea what anyone said and macha, as you know, I kantoi-ed.

So, I learned my lesson now macha and next time, I won't be using my phone when I'm in a meeting with the bosses. Trust me dude, it's not a good idea at all. I gotta go now but do come back tomorrow because I have a VERY SPECIAL SURPRISE for you. :)
