By now, you’ve probably ran out of movies to watch (possibly, why you’re reading this article) and thinking to yourself, what now? to get you through the weeks of isolation.

To continue keeping your sanity, while you remain safely home, here’s 8 feel good movies that will help you get through another week of social distancing.

1.Pitch Perfect (2012)

What: it’s a whole lot of singing and a whole lot of laughing. Anna Kendrick plays Beca, a sassy, sarcastic, freshman who joins her University’s all-girls singing group. And they’re on a mission to make it to the top.

Who: Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Rebel Wilson.

Feel-good feels: 9/10 the movies is perfect for both musical and non-musical lovers.  It’s a feel good movie that will get you cracking all the way to the end.

2.Up (2009)

What: Grumpy old man,  Carl Fredricksen, is on a mission to  travel to Paradise Falls in his house equipped with balloons, and accidentally brings a young boy, Russel, along for the ride.

Who: Edward Asner, Jordan Nagai, John Ratzenberger

Feel-good feels: 10/10 this movie fits all the feels. It will have you smiling, laughing and tearing by the end of the movie (happy tears of course).

3.Big (1988)

What: Who didn’t want to be a grown up when they were a kid (especially when all your friend were developing faster than you)? Tom Hanks plays a young teenage boy who wishes to become big and magically gets his wish –  waking up to find  himself in a mysterious body of a complete grown man.

Who: Tom Hanks, Elizabeth Perkins, Robert Loggia

Feel-good feels: 8/10 Has anyone ever not loved a Tom Hanks movie? The film lets us enjoy the young Hanks with his lovable character that is refreshingly sweet and undeniably funny.

4.Crazy Rich Asians (2018)

What:  The film that has made all us Asians proud! Based on the global bestseller, the film is a romantic comedy that follows New Yorker Rachel Chu  and her Singaporean boyfriend, who takes her home to his country to visit his family.

Feel-good feels: 8/10 . As we all (Asians) know, Asian moms are not easy to impress.But when you win her heart,you win it all! The movie will have your eyes feasting in all the glamorous outfits and the beauty of Asian culture.

5.Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse (2018)

What: One of the best animated spider- man movie today! The story is about a Teen named  Miles Morales who becomes “Spider-Man of his reality, crossing his path with five counterparts from other dimensions to stop a threat for all realities”- IMDb

Feel-good feels: 8/10  The films side-splitting gags, lovable characters, and funny narrative is relentlessly entertaining,

6. My Neighbour Totoro (1988)

What: An adorable animated film of two girls who moves to the country closer to their ailing mother. The duo have adventures with the wondrous forest spirits who live nearby.

Who: Hitoshi Takagi, Noriko Hidaka, Chika Sakamoto

Feel-good feels: 9/10 did I mention it’s an adorable animated film? This will have your heart melting all the way

7.Amélie (2001)

What: A foreign movie of Amélie, a charming oddball who always finds herself helping other people around her, but herself, until love forces her to change.

Who: Audrey Tautou, Mathieu Kassovitz, Rufus

Feel-good feels:  10/10 the film will bring you full of joy, it’s a package of everything you would want in a feel-good movie!

8.Late Night (2019)

What: This feel good comedy, follows Legendary talk show host Katherine Newbury whose show is plummeting in the ratings. Afraid of getting replaced by someone much younger, she abruptly hires Molly Patel as a writer, a complete noob in the media industry , to make her more relevant.

Who: Emma Thompson, Mindy Kaling

Feel-Good feels: 8/10 Emma Thompson and Mindy Kaling is the best collab there is! Both their wits will have you giggling and feeling good all through out the movie.
