Lead singer Adam Levine, has shared an apology video for Maroon 5’s unprofessional concert on Thursday (17 Feb.), at Chile’s Viña del Mar International Song Festival.
On Friday (28 Feb.), the singer shared a video message on his Instagram stories, with an apology to fans after many took to social media to express their frustration to the bands poor performance.
According to PopCrush via CHV News, The band reportedly arrived 30 minutes late to the stage, causing television personalities María Luisa Godoy and Martín Cáracamo to “fill in for minutes that became eternal for those present. ”

Some viewers were also disappointed by Levine’s perceived attitude toward the crowd. During his performance for “She Will Be Loved, ” the singer took out his frustration and responded to fans booing them by saying, if they want to do his job then they can “go ahead.”
However, Levine admits they failed to give fans a good show. “To be totally frank there were some things holding me back last night and I let them get to me. And it impacted how I was behaving onstage, which is unprofessional and I apologize for that,” he expressed on his Insta Story.

“I struggled a lot and sometimes it’s really for me to mask the struggle. For that, I let you guys down and I apologize, ” Levine admitted.

Levine also posted a photo on Instagram with the message “While we can’t always make up for our past, we can absolutely try our best to learn from it…thank you Chile for giving me the opportunity to grow. And to share some amazing memories that we will never forget. 🇨🇱 ❤️🙏🏻.”
