After weeks of teasers, tweets, and tattoo scandals, Ariana Grande’s fifth album Thank U, Next is finally here. The music sees Ariana in a more confident than ever look, ready to move past the trauma and heartbreak of her past few months.
In addition to top hits including “7 rings” and “thank u, next” the album has a total of 12 tracks, along with the promotional single “Imagine.” And in celebration of the release, Ariana just so happened to release a brand-new music video for “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” starring Riverdale’s very own Charles Melton! In the video, Ariana tries to steal Charles away from his onscreen love interest, who looks eerily similar to herself.
2018 has proven to be Ariana’s year as she has expanded on her commercial success and critical acclaim. Both “7 Rings” and “Thank U, Next” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making Ariana the first artist in history whose first two No. 1’s have debuted in the top spot.

Ariana is currently up for Grammys in the Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album categories — the former for “God Is a Woman” and the latter for Sweetener. She was initially scheduled to perform at this Sunday’s show, but has since pulled out after a reported dispute with Grammys producers over creative control.
