The bad ju-ju has finally got the best of the titular daytime talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, as she is now considering to leave after 17 years!
The Daily Mail has released that Ellen is considering quitting her daytime talk show after 17 years on the air. Last year, the talk show host signed a deal for the show to extend through the year 2022, but due to recent public pressure and scrutiny the host might be taking a hiatus, to not worsen the already sensitive situation.
The source kept anonymous by outlet revealed that, “She feels she can’t go on and the only way to recover her personal brand from this is to shut down the show.”
The source also goes on to share, “The truth is she knew what was going on, it’s her show,” they continued. “The buck stops with her. She can blame every executive under the sun … but Ellen is ultimately the one to blame.”
This does not look good! Ellen had sent a memo to the staff of the daytime show, stating an apology of all the misconduct that had been caused on them. But the story gets worse, as many other staff members exposed the show and the producers further, that they were engaged in sexual misconduct.
What do you think? Is it best for Ellen to leave the show?
