In case you’re wondering…yes the show must go on! The 72nd Primetime Emmy awards were held this year albeit with social distancing measures. Read on to find out who managed to bag an award.

 

Highlights

• The awards were hosted by Jimmy Kimmel in Staples Center which was empty, with nominees tuning in from their respective homes.

• Schitt’s Creek bagged the most number of wins at nine wins with seven being Primetime awards. Succession came in second clocking in five wins.

• Zendaya made history for being the youngest ever winner for Best Lead Actress in a Drama for her role as Rue Bennett in Euphoria.
