#Emmys2020: Rumoured Ex Jacob Elordi Reacts to Zendaya’s Historic Win

The Australian actor finally breaks his silence on his rumoured old flame’s win.

Zendaya recently made history as the youngest ever winner in the category Outstanding Actress in Drama Series for her portrayal of Rue Bennett in HBO’s Euphoria. She is also only the second black woman to ever win in this category with the first being Viola Davis for her role as Annalise Keating in the hit show How to Get Away with Murder.

The internet has been in a frenzy since the 24 year old’s win was announced, with congratulations pouring in for all sides and the Twitter-verse has gone crazy with memes.

However, one of the most notable reactions to her recent win was when her rumoured ex-beau Jacob Elordi took to Instagram to congratulate her. The Australian actor posted an image of Zendaya on his Instagram along with the caption “Congratulations Captain. Bravo” with two heart emojis and he also tagged Zendaya’s Instagram account.

The two stars were first linked together in February this year when they were spotted together on several different occasions. However, the couple never officially acknowledged their relationship with Zendaya saying that they were “best friends” and Elordi referred to her as being “like my sister”. Sometime, in this month rumours started that the pairs alleged relationship seemed to have reached it’s sell by date. Well, it looks like the pair are still friends and that they seem to be no hard feelings between them.
