Abel, is that you?! The Weeknd is kicking off 2021 by sending his fans into a frenzy and utter shock with his brand new look.
The 30-year-old Grammy winner, born Abel Tesfaye (P.S we can’t get over how cool that name is), revealed his rather peculiar, drastically altered face in the just released Save Your Tears music video. However, before you cry over the lost of Abel’s gorgeous face, the Daily Mail reported that he’s simply wearing prosthetics, the singer had a bloated face and lips. In addition to a crooked nose, he had what appeared to be surgery scars across his cheeks.
And you can always trust the internet to find any resemblance to other characters, even if that means The Weeknd is compared to a squid. Fans can’t help but feel like the singer looks a lot like the Handsome Squidward meme.
