On December 3, Malaysian singer-songwriter Yunalis Binti Mat Zara’ai (aka Yuna) is set to perform at an iconic landmark – Aquaria KLCC. The aquarium, which has since been shuttered as a result of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) will not see a live audience, as the ‘Stay Where You Are’ singer will live-stream her performance.
In her Instagram post, the singer-songwriter announced the decision, stating:
“Since we can’t go out and tour around the world (which was a huge part of my life) artists have been struggling to find ways to perform live for their fans- me included! I’ve been trying really hard to figure out where and how to do this next livestream showcase for months so I’m so excited to announce that I will be performing LIVE as in livestream from my city Kuala Lumpur, from my fave spot @aquariaklcc 3 DEC 2020.”

With a month of prep to be done, Yuna promises a “once in a lifetime show” and a “crazy day”. Meanwhile, tickets for the concert are now on sale, with different broadcasts for different time zones, the first for Asia taking place December 3 from 8 to 9pm. In addition, Yuna shared that she had recently joined Twitch , with the possibility of fans being able to catch the artist “testing out [her] livestream once in a while.”

In September this year, Yuna blessed fans with the single ‘Invisible’, which is said to pick up where her 2016 hit ‘Crush’ (featuring Usher) left off. Of the single, the 34-year-old shared,
“Remember when you were in school and you have a crush on someone and you’re just like I don’t think this feeling is ever gonna go away & I don’t think he knows I exist heeeeelp! This is the song that the 15 year old Yuna tried to write so many times but couldn’t. ❤️”
Meanwhile, Yuna is set to star in this year’s Coach Holiday campaign alongside Jennifer Lopez, Michael B. Jordan, artiste Kiko Mizuhara, basketball star Jeremy Lin, actress Camila Morrone, rapper Megan Thee Stallion and boxer Ramla Ali.

Being an original is doing something that no one thought of doing in the first place! Just following your gut despite people thinking you’re weird, out of place.. what matters is this- you believed in yourself & you know that you got something special to share with the world. Thanks for including me @coach 💕this is so cool i get to be in the same video as my shero @jlo 😭 #thecoachoriginals #CoachNY
While this isn’t Yuna’s first collaboration with the brand, the news is as exciting as it was when it was first announced that she would be linked to the brand. Fans can expect to see Yuna in the brand’s campaigns leading up to the holiday season, according to a report in News Straits Times. Kudos to our homegirl for dreaming big and making it beyond those dreams!
