Blink And You’ll Miss It!: The Best Celebrity Cameos On ‘Friends’

Hah, you probably didn’t even realise these famous people were in ‘Friends’!

‘Friends’ dominated the sitcom scene back in the ‘90s – and it remains one of the most-watched and loved shows to date! From sensitive Ross to neurotic Monica (and not forgetting Chandler, who like many of us, uses humour to disguise his pain) we can all find a little bit of ourselves within these main characters. Joey who “doesn’t share food” is a trait we relate to the most, but that’s another story for another day.

Now check out these celebrity cameos who helped liven up the ante on this sitcom!

1. Brad Pitt as Will Colbert

Brad’s cameo appearance is a fan favourite as he and Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel, were happily married in real life at the time.  Ironically, Brad’s character hated Jennifer’s to the point where it is revealed that he used to be a member of the “I Hate Rachel Green Club” in high school.

2. Gary Oldman as Richard Crosby

In season 7, Gary played a famous actor who works with Joey in a movie about soldiers in WW1. The character he played, Richard, is definitely a better actor than Joey, except for one tiny problem…he spits when he reads his lines!

3. Freddie Prinze Jr.

Freddie’s character, Sandy, is a male nanny hired by Rachel to watch over her and Ross’ daughter, Emma. In the beginning, Ross strongly disliked Sandy as he isn’t comfortable with the idea of a man becoming a nanny. He is even more disturbed when he discovers just how ‘sensitive’ Sandy is, forgetting that he is a sensitive, sensitive man himself. In fact, Ross is so sensitive that he is the one who ends up crying on Sandy’s shoulder by the end of the episode!
