Okay, sooo, you enjoyed watching Bridgerton, eh? And you want more of, ahem, Lord(s) of Bridgerton? The Bridgerton-Bros? Good news!!! They have been renewed for a second season and—we basically know exactly what’s going to happen in every single season—thanks to the fact that the Netflix show is based on books by best-selling romance author Julia Quinn.

Itt’s safe to assume the show’s follow-up seasons will be based on the next books in the series: The Viscount Who Loved Me—each of which focuses on a different Bridgerton sibling. On that note, let’s get to some juicy spoilers about how their lives play out.

Who’s the main focus?

While Bridgerton Season 1 focused largely on Daphne, Anthony will be the subject of Season 2. In the book, Anthony finds himself a wife—but there’s a hitch. His bride’s “spirited” older sister Kate Sheffield is determined to stop the marriage from taking place. Naturally, this is due to sexual tension with Anthony, who’s having “increasingly erotic dreams” about her. So yeah, basically next season will focus on Anthony’s steamy relationship with his girlfriend’s sister. Normal stuff!

And if the second season follows the second book of the Bridgerton series, we should be expecting a few new major characters, the most important of which are the sisters Kate and Edwina Sheffield who play a BIG part in this season’s love story. There’s been no castings announced for these roles as of yet, but you can leave it to Netflix to snag the perfect ladies for the parts.

So yeah! All you’ve really got to do is read the book, The Viscount Who Loved Me, and you’ll have a pretty good idea on how things are going to end for dear old Anthony.
