Christmas this year is going to be a whole different kind of holiday, with the need to maintain physical distancing and large celebrations discouraged. However, just like how we’ve survived – and in some cases, thrived – through the rollercoaster of a year that 2020 has been, we will find a way to make the celebration one that is just as jolly as it has been. After all, Christmas is a time for giving and a time for thanks. So while we must refrain from doing the normal holiday stuff, what we can instead do is adapt the ‘new normal’ to suit the holiday cheer! One easy way to do so is to reflect the holiday in the backgrounds of our Zoom calls! While you’re connecting with your loved ones, spread some cheer and joy with these gorgeous, festive backgrounds that are bound to get a few, “How did you do that?” queries!
Plus! If you decided to omit or were not able to put up decorations this year – here’s your free ticket to getting the holiday decor without having to spend a cent! Click on the images to download these festive backgrounds.
How do you customise your Zoom background?
1. Log in to your account the Zoom website.
2. Go to Settings and then Meeting Settings.
3. Scroll down to make sure the Virtual Background capability has been enabled.
4. Head onto the app and click on Settings over there.
5. In the menu (on the left), you’ll see Virtual Background again, where you can select one of Zoom’s options or upload one of these holiday-inspired picks.
6. Click on the plus-sign icon, and you can upload the background of your choice.
