A rom-com for the ages—To All The Boys I’ve Before, was one of Netflix first major hits when it first premiered in August 2018. Similarly, its sequel, To All The Boys 2: P.S. I Still Love You, which dropped on February 12, 2020, proved just as thrilling for all the fans who’d waited with bated breath over the romantic fate of Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky. Aka the high school heartthrob that the girls and boys of the millennials are obsessed with.

And if that wasn’t exciting enough, the third and final instalment of the film trilogy has wrapped up and the first trailer is officially here. Watch below:

As for what the last movie has in store for Lara Jean and Peter? Scroll on for everything we know about the To All The Boys 3: Always And Forever, Lara Jean. WARNING: Spoilers ahead (obviously).

Based on Jenny Han’s third To All The Boys novel, Always And Forever, Lara Jean, the movie will most likely follow Lara Jean and Peter as they wrap up their final year of high school while preparing for university.

In the books, both of them apply for the University of Virginia, but only Peter gets in, while Lara Jean gets into the University of North Carolina. And if things weren’t difficult enough, Peter’s parents tell Lara Jean that Peter is considering giving up his athletic pursuits at UVA to follow her to UNC, and ask her to break up with him.

This results in Lara Jean having to tell Peter and contend with the notion of them being in different states, which is only intensified when her dad sends her and her sisters to Korea to stay with their grandmother and reconnect with their culture. Unsure of what to do, Lara Jean gets drunk for the first time and breaks up with Peter—only to regret it later. Ooouu.

Netflix has revealed that we can expect the film to hit our screens on February 12, 2021, exactly a year after the second film was released. Mark your calendars, girls and boys!
