‘Friends’ Reunion Postponed!

We must keep the ‘Friends’ cast safe at all cost

The highly anticipated special reunion of ‘Friends’ is now postponed.

HBO Max’s plan to bring the former casts together was forced to put on halt due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Friends reunion special was to be the biggest thing in 2020 for HBO Max’s launch, originally scheduled in May. Filming was set to start next week, but, like most production in Hollywood, everything has been pushed back for the safety of cast and crews.

The Production for the reunion will likely be postponed until May.

Warner Bros, released a statement last week saying,  “With the rapidly changing events related to COVID-19, and out of an abundance of caution, Warner Bros. Television Group is halting production on some of our 70+ series and pilots currently filming or about to begin.”

“There have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 on any of our productions, but the health and safety of our employees, casts and crews remains our top priority. During this time, we will continue to follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control as well as local officials and public health professionals in each city where our productions are based,” they said.

The much-awaited reunion would bring Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer together once again, along with creators Marta Kauffman, Kevin Bright, and David Crane.

The interview will be  filmed on the Friends original soundstage at Warner Bros Studios.

The news is a huge bummer to fans of the show, but hey,  it’s for the best and it will all be worth it!
