The duo very much known for their parody skills have switched the game by releasing an EP called Ku- $$$, money money yo!
Hafiz has ditched Guibo for the week and has brought on Malaysian artist Kyren Thomas and are now named the boy group #Kuching Garang, meow! They have released the ever so awaited track ‘Rak Buku’ is on air on FlyFM and here are my 2 cents on the chilled rap song.
There is a saying that goes the more annoying a song is the more it will stick in your head. Many songs have proven that fact, such as Rebecca Black Friday and the multiple annoying times DJ Khaled has mentioned his name in songs. I see you Hafiz and Kyren, your song has accomplished its mission, because it’s stuck in my head. I can’t stop singing along to it.
The duo is not afraid to throw down some facts and has definitely amused me. Start flipping a book ladies and gentlemen, you wouldn’t have caught the verse that mentions “Kita baca sejarah tau Mat Kilau, Kau pulak pakai shades waktu malam Mat Silau”. Ooo you just got school by the freshest duo Kuching Garang!
Something about repeating verses in a song, makes the track absolutely catchy and memorable. I’m not sure if the boy group temporarily (I hope) blanked or simply lost creativity. But don’t worry boys the track has managed to catch me at least with its intriguing lyrics that goes:
Bacalah bacalah bacalah bacalah
Believe me now? You be the judge!
Have I sold you on the talented duo Kuching Garang yet? Don’t forget to catch the other tracks coming called “Makan” and “Kucing” on FlyFM!
