It’s been a wild few months for Lil Nas X, the 20-year-old who recently became an instant Hollywood star, is now planning to step away from the limelight.
The “Old Town Road” rapper made the surprising announcement via Twitter on Saturday, 27 Sept.
“It’s been a wild last 7 months and im ready to take a little time off,” Lil Nas said on his tweet. “sorry to everyone attending twitchcon or the sandbox music festival, I will not be there. I love u guys and will make it up to you some way.”

On 23 Sept., it was announced that both “Panini” and his 7 EP became platinum-certified by the RIAA.
