Maroon 5, on Tuesday, released their latest music video “Memories”.
But unexpectedly for the new music video, Maroon 5 who’s often known for their major production, opt for a very simple clip.
Directed by David Dobkin, who has also directed the band’s “Sugar” and “Girls Like You” videos, the MV only shows a close-up of Adam Levine’s face, which similarly resembles, Sinead O’Connor’s 1990 video for “Nothing Compares 2 U.”
The music video then ends with the message, “For Jordi,” that appears on the screen, a tribute to the band’s manager, Levine’s best friend Jordan Feldstein, who died in 2017 at age 40.
Feldstein was also the brother of actors Jonah Hill and Beanie Feldstein.
