Known as Bantuan Prihatin Nasional 2.0 (BPN 2.0), the aid is part of the Kita Prihatin economic recovery package The prime minister said RM7 billion has been allocated for BPN 2.0 which will benefit 10.6 million recipients.
- For the B40 group, households are set to receive RM1,000 — those who are single will receive RM500.
- As for the M40 group, households will receive RM600 — those who are single will receive RM300.
The payments will be made in two instalments with the first one in October and the second in Jan 2021.
