In this episode of #TerkiniwithNandini Fly’s AM Mayhem and Nandini discuss if you should trust financial “gurus” online?! Could it be a scam?
Nandini and Fly’s AM Mayhem feel that people shouldn’t blindly trust these gurus, and to make sure they do their research themselves and take steps that are conducive to you and your family.
“There’s no easy way to become rich!If you want to be rich you have to work hard!Even for scammers, for them to become rich, they gotta scam a lot of people.” – Hafiz
“Maybe it’s inspiring enough for you to start thinking about your financial situation. I do feel like if you can relate to one of them and the advice that they are giving is relevant maybe you can use those advice to fit your financial situation.
But at the end of the day, I’m more of the hire someone to sort of your finances because they are experts to help you navigate the very confusing world of finances. But that to comes from a point of privilege cause most Malaysians don’t have enough retirement savings and a lot of them live from paycheck to paycheck then you really have nothing to spare right.
But i would remind everyone to not blindly go join these people are selling to you, they ask you to save money but they ask you to spend that money to join them! So don’t fall that!” – Nandini
