The Duffer brothers are giving fans some good news!
More than a year since the release of Stranger Things season 3, the Netflix show’s creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, have announced the fourth season of the show- won’t be its last.
“Season four won’t be the end. We know what the end is, and we know when it is. (The pandemic) has given us time to look ahead, figure out what is best for the show. Starting to fill that out gave us a better idea of how long we need to tell that story,” said Ross Duffer.
This means a fifth season of the series will be coming our way, and who knows, there might even be a sixth season!
If Stranger Things does continue with a season 5, that would mark the first time a Netflix original series surpasses the four-year benchmark, because most don’t go beyond that, before saying bye-bye.
So far, no details have been shared of the upcoming series, but, at least we have something to look forward too now!
